Year 3 Classes
Welcome to Year 3
Sloth Class
Welcome to Sloth class with Miss Fenn and Miss Pack. We are so excited to be welcoming our wonderful new Sloth Class, where learning will be unhurried, thoughtful, and full of smiles 🦥
In Sloth Class, we are really looking forward to a year filled with learning and laughter. We hope the children will grow in responsibility as they care for their work, their classroom, and each other. We are excited to encourage resilience, helping everyone to keep going when learning feels challenging and to feel proud of their efforts.
Kindness will be at the heart of Sloth Class, and we hope to see lots of empathy as children listen, support one another, and celebrate differences. We are also looking forward to seeing plenty of bravery by having a go, sharing ideas, and trying new things, even when they feel a little tricky.
This year is sure to be packed full of fun, friendship, and fantastic learning, and we cannot wait to see Sloth Class grow, shine, and enjoy a truly sloth-tastic year! 🌟

Llama Class
Welcome to Llama class with Mrs Wilde Hayes and Mrs Manchester. We are so excited to be working with the amazing new Llama class, where the double ‘l’ stands for learning and laughter! Mrs Wilde Hayes cannot wait to teach history as we will be learning about her favourite eras – Ancient Egyptians, Ancient Greeks and Ancient Romans. Mrs Manchester is the cheerleader for Hawks class; she loves to celebrate every step of progress that each child makes. This year really will be packed full of fun and learning and is sure to be a llama-zing year!
Here are some llama facts:

3. They’re also very strong animals and can carry up to a third of their body weight.

6. Llama farmers call llama poop “llama beans” and it doesn’t smell.
