School Choir

Our talented Swingate Choir is one of the jewels in our school community, and we are incredibly proud of everything they achieve. Comprising more than 40 enthusiastic and gifted singers from Years 4 to 6, choir membership is highly sought after, with auditions held each September by Mrs Clarke.

Throughout the year, our choir delights audiences both within school and across the local community. They play a key role in our Remembrance services, spread festive cheer through performances at local churches and community lunch groups, and proudly sing for Demelza in Maidstone High Street during the Christmas season.

The choir also enjoys unforgettable opportunities beyond the classroom, including taking part in the spectacular Young Voices concert at London's O2 Arena. Each year, they showcase their talent and leadership by hosting the Bluebell MAT & Friends Sing-Off, bringing schools together to celebrate the joy of music.

Through dedication, teamwork and a love of singing, our choir members develop confidence, resilience and performance skills while creating memories that last a lifetime.
