Year 4 Classes

Welcome to Year 4

 Buzzards

We are Buzzard class and we are a great team who like to give each other support and encouragement. We are looking forward to the amazing year ahead. This year we will learn all about earthquakes and volcanoes, ancient Greeks, deserts, Vikings, our local area and the Normans as well as; English, maths, science, PE, French, our Jigsaw program and much more! We aim to make the most of all the fantastic opportunities that come our way for example: after school clubs, fundraising for different charities, sporting events, the choir and of course our school trip. We feel very lucky to be part of this wonderful school!

Falcons

Welcome to Kite class with Mrs Jordan, Miss Summerfield and Mrs Simmons. We are such enthusiastic learners and are eager to immerse ourselves in our interesting topics this year from volcanoes to the Greeks. We love to read and compete each week to be named a remarkable reader. Together as a class we introduce each other to new authors to allow our imagination to grow. Some of our favourite authors to allow our imagination to grow. Some of our favourite authors include Michael Morpurgo, Charles Dickens and Roald Dahl. Our maths aim this year is to see just how many of us can reach Rock Star or even Rock Hero status because we know just how important TT Rockstars is to aid us with our recall of times table facts.

Kites

Welcome to Falcon class with Miss Harpum and Mrs Tulett! We are very excited about year 4 and are looking forward to a busy year ahead engaging in some fantastic learning. We are particularly excited to get stuck in to our thrilling topics! During the year Falcon class will explore disaster zones, be transported back to ancient Greece and prepare for battle with the Anglo-Saxons and the Vikings as well as having many other adventures. The class is full of enthusiastic learners who try their hardest, support each other as part of a team and are ready for the challenges ahead.
