Year 3 Classes
Welcome to Year 3.
We love being in Owl class with Miss Easthope and the rest of the year 3 team. We are particularly excited to be in year 3 because we get our own lockers and we get to go swimming!
We are looking forward to new learning, including our fantastic topics: The Stone Age and Bronze Age, Eurovision, The Romans, The Land of Hope and Glory, Ancient Egypt and Save the World!
Our book corner is amazing! It is based on Harry Potter and is really cosy and exciting. We already read regularly at home and we also really enjoy sharing books with each other in school.
Now we are in year 3, we are trying to be more active in our learning. We have been finding ways to be really independent by using resources and things around our classroom so that we can overcome challenges on our own or with our friends.
Jigsaw is a great time when we can learn to listen carefully to each other and value each other. It teaches us how to be a good citizen and helps us to stay calm in tricky situations.
Welcome to Hawk Class! In our hardworking and resilient class we try to make learning engaging and enjoyable for all so that each of us can achieve our full potential. We encourage independence whilst offering support when it is needed and we love to celebrate everyone’s learning in a variety of ways. We look forward to sharing some of our amazing learning with everyone throughout the year.
Welcome to excellent Eagles class.
We are so excited to be in Year 3 and joining KS2 with Miss Kemp. We are looking forward to new learning, including our amazing topics: The Stone Age and Bronze Age, Eurovision, The Romans, The Land of Hope and Glory, Ancient Egypt and Save the World! We have extra adults who are eager to support us with our learning this year; Mrs Patel, Mrs Adam and Mrs Nightingale.
In Year 3, we are looking forward to sharing our learning with Hawks Class and Owl Class. Playtimes and lunchtimes are brilliant with different activities and games.
In Eagles Class, we learn together, sharing ideas and by trying our best. We love using songs and games to help us with our learning and are exploring the different resources that we can use. Eagles love competing against themselves and others at Times Table Rock Stars. Our favourite time of the week is a Friday afternoon when we can open our door to let our grown-ups in to share the learning that we have been doing.
